{meet me in oak glen!}

My family visits Oak Glen’s apple orchards each fall and it is one of my very favorite traditions to usher in the new season, so I am so very excited to finally offer client mini-sessions at one of my very favorite places to visit – Riley’s Farm in Oak Glen, California! This year, for two dates only, I am offering 30 minute mini-sessions! Please note that only three (3) spots are available for each date.

Please e-mail me at renee@reneeevansphotography.com for details and to book your session! I hope to see you there!

I’ve shared a few of my family’s past trips below, it’s so neat to see how my children and family has grown!

a family session in the desert

I’m finally sharing this family session from nearly two years ago! (I can’t even believe it’s been that long. How?!) It was such a beautiful day in the desert and this family couldn’t have been more fun or more stylish.

Enjoy!

We were making pancakes the other morning and my daughter wanted to crack the eggs, I was hesitant, but she said “Mommy I’m FIVE, I can do it!” And sure enough, she did it and she did it better than I do it – one handed even. It was pretty amazing. She is pretty amazing. Full of life and emotion and character. And because I started this tradition when she was one, here are her birthday pictures with her birthday balloons.

Love this! Keep up the tradition!

{eight months}

A couple days ago our baby turned eight months old. How she is already eight months old is beyond me. Time just goes so fast, especially when you have two. In the midst of Thanksgiving break, instead of finishing my dishes or doing laundry, I got out my camera, pushed my daughter’s bed against the wall with the best light and took some impromptu images of my baby, a couple of my baby with her big sis, and a few with me…DSC_1981DSC_1985Collage1DSC_2006DSC_2014DSC_2023DSC_2024DSC_2027DSC_2032DSC_2036DSC_2039DSC_1977DSC_1937DSC_1974

Awesome

apples + pears

Waaaaay back in September, my little family of four visited Riley’s Apple Farm in Oak Glen. It was early in the season and the trees were flourishing. Fall is my favorite time of the year and I’m always excited to take a trip to the apple orchard. I look forward to it all year and as summer winds down, I count the days. Here’s why…

…and then bonus – you get to take home fresh-off-the-tree, absolutely delicious fruit.

I always like to bake an apple pie with the apples from the orchard!
